Life Groups
Small groups usually consist of 6-12 people from church, or those who want to know more about Christianity, who meet in church members' homes weekly to share food, pray, discuss the bible and develop deep friendships. They have three main facets:
UP - grow deeper in faith
-
Exploring and studying the bible
-
Worship and praise
-
Occasional short discipleship courses
IN - grow closer to one another
-
Praying for one another, for friends & families.
-
Doing life together – meals and time spent enjoying each other’s company.
-
Discussing real-life issues and inviting God’s perspective on them.
-
Giving practical support in times of need.
OUT - invite more people to meet Jesus
-
Spending time together with our families, friends and neighbours.
-
Doing things together that bless the church community and those who do not yet know Jesus.
Our groups meet on a variety of days/times and each has a particular theme or special interest that connects its members
such as
-
having a heart for children and families in the church
-
caring about social justice and community action
-
providing pastoral care to one another
If you'd like to consider joining a Life Group, talk to Kate Mier or one of the other church leaders about which one might be best for you.
